Crowded with grey nomads most of which were great. To many what look to be abandoned tents supposed to from the indigenous community (a very disappointing eye sore in prime camping spots) not as good as it was 20 years ago

If you are looking to waste $17 per person a night, here is the place to go. For a family of 4 it will cost you approximately $68 a night. Although the waterways are nice and watching the planes take off and land is fun, the facilities here are terrible. There is only one actual toilet block with three flushing toilets in the ladies and two in the mens, no hot showers and a block of eco toilets. For a place that cost more than a commercial caravan park you would expect them to have hot showers.

$17 per night per adult during peak season, toilets are maintained on a regular basis as well as rubbish disposal. If you are looking for a nice place to stay and good fishing this is the place. Be aware that there are large groups of aboriginals that act violently and aggressively, whilst staying here for 3 nights we witnessed a group of aboriginal children assualt a group of white children minding their own business, the language coming our of their mouths was absolutely disgusting for their age and soon they had their parents involved as well, the situation became so violent police needed to be called in. Be very careful if you are a female approaching any of the toilets at night alone. By partner walked down to the toilet closest to the rock wall and a large group of drunk aboriginals started verbally taunting her and trying to touch her whilst she was trying to enter the toilets. If you are a female I highly recommend taking atleast one male with you to walk to the toilet with you because they are extremely disrespectful towards females. At one stage we lost one of our torchs, we approaching an aboriginal group to ask if they had seen the torch or anyone had taken it and immediately started hurling aggressive slander at us and trying to intimidate us and fight us, we were nothing but polite and quickly moved along before anything happened. Be aware that these aboriginals also have no respect for their children with children from the age of 6 with alcohol in their hands and one 16 year old girl getting so drunk she couldn't even stand. Be aware that they have a permenant camp set up and not to go anywhere near it, also be aware that they do not keep their dogs on leads as per campground regulation. I hope your stay is better than ours. Additional to this shortly after writing this review we had two of our expensive beach rods and a bucket full of fishing gear stolen from behind our backs whilst we were catching beach worms. Make sure you keep an eye on your belongings

Airport near by, unfriendly people/bogans.Beach and rockwall is nice though. Worst camping in term of population I ve ever been to.

Love this little GemDrop Loos clean Drinking water available@ $9.50 / Person Pensioner and right on the Beach .Lucky enough to see Australian Skydiving Comp on at the Weekend .
