Swordfish portion was to smsll for the high price.Deserts ridiculously expensive.Lovely cooking but....
The River is always a must visit for me each time I am in Moruya. It is right on the riverside and has a lovely view. Beautiful interiors, friendly and knowledgeable staff, a great selection of wines and deliciously beautiful food! Always an exquisite treat when in the area. They use great local produce and I always look forward to dining here.
Went for lunch! Great spot! Fabulous food! Reasonably priced as well! Interesting wine list!Service lets them down though! We drank a glass of white wine and then ordered a bt of red. Clean glasses werent offered! Had to ask for water and pretty anything else we needed! I would understand if the place would be full, but it was lunchtime and hardly anybody in the restaurant! The French waiter needs some new shoes! They were very visibly falling apart. Keep working on it!But dont forget, the food was marvellous!
Delicious food. Smallish portions. Fantastic wine selection. Worth going for a special event, a little pricey for every now and then.
